Description of GSM PROFI 3 – Module for controlling a gate by mobile phone, 4 outputs, 4 inputs

Device for controlling appliances, mainly sliding gates, garage doors, swing gates or barriers, by calling the device and hanging up from a mobile phone. Suitable for apartment complexes and larger companies with up to 1,000 users. The device and user accounts can be managed using an Android app, configuration text messages, a PC program, or a web interface. The GSM module comes with a small antenna included. To improve GSM reception, we recommend purchasing an external antenna (ANT1, ANT2).

GSM Profi can control up to four devices.

Controlling multiple outputs with a single GSM module
The GSM module has space for only one SIM card, but it can control multiple devices. You can use three methods

  • 1) Granting individual users access to specific devices
    Example: Output 1 controls the entrance gate, and output 2 controls the warehouse gate. The secretary only needs access to the entrance gate, as she has no reason to enter the warehouse. When she calls the module, output 1 is activated. The warehouse worker, who has access to the warehouse gate, can call the same GSM module; when he calls, the warehouse gate opens.
  • 2) Activating the outputs one after another during a single call
    Example: After the first ring (ringback tone), output 1 is activated; after the third ring during the same call, output 2 is activated, and so on.
  • 3) Activating an output based on the number of rings during a single call
    With this method, you call the GSM module, and it activates the required output according to the number of rings (ringback tones).
    Example: 1–3 rings activate output 1
    3–6 rings activate output 2
    6–9 rings activate output 3
    9 or more rings activate output 4
