Description of Fence picket, grey, 120x12mm
PILWOOD® fence boards made from WPC (wood-plastic composite), combining 60% wood with 40% high-quality, non-toxic HDPE polymer. Pilwood fence boards are a great choice thanks to their high durability and long service life with no need for protective coatings.
They are one of the most durable, long-lasting, maintenance-free materials for your fence. The fence boards are made in the Czech Republic and feature a high-quality profile with colour throughout.

Each size comes in 5 colours - anthracite (ebony), grey (stainless steel), red-brown (merbau), sand (cedar), brown (rosewood) and 4 different lengths - 1 metre, 1.2 metres, 1.5 metres, 2 metres.

Vertical installation of fence boards
Support rails
- You can choose the longitudinal support rails to suit your requirements
- The recommended maximum overhang beyond the support rail at both the top and bottom is 150mm
- The recommended maximum spacing between support rails is 780mm
- Two support rails are sufficient for fence boards up to 1.2m long; three support rails are recommended for longer boards
- The support rails are easily attached to the post using a small L-shaped clip
Securing a fence board
- Secure the fence board to the support rail using a 4.8x25mm rivet
- Pre-drill the hole in both the fence board and the rail using a 5mm drill bit
- If using two rivets, keep them at least this far from the edge of the fence board: 16mm

- Leave a gap of at least 5mm between the fence boards to allow for thermal expansion

Horizontal installation of fence boards
Support rails
- For horizontal installation, fence boards should be no longer than 1.5m.
- If using a 2m fence board, reinforce it at the midpoint with a support, such as a rail.
- The fence boards themselves are attached to the post using a large L-shaped clip
Securing a fence board
- Secure the fence board to the L-shaped clip using a M6x20 coach screw
- Pre-drill the hole in the fence board using a 6mm drill bit
- If using two screws, keep them at least this far from the edge of the fence board: 16mm
Fence board fixing options
- Leave a gap of at least 5mm between the fence boards to allow for thermal expansion
