Description of C-profile 95x100mm – natural aluminium, unfinished
Bottom guide aluminum C-profile with a cross-section measuring 95×100 (W×H) and a wall thickness of 11 mm is used as a structural profile for an aluminum cantilever sliding gate.
- Only a carriage designed for this aluminum C-profile fits the profile.
- Aluminum C-profiles can be joined using stainless steel pins.
- The aluminum C-profile can also be attached to the gate structure using screws and rivet nuts:
- At the end of the C-profile, it is possible to slide on an end ramp and close off the profile with an end cap. The aluminum C-profile can then run into the bottom stop.
- A groove protrudes from the side of the C-profile for the toothed rack, which slides into it and is secured at the end using stops.
Aluminum C-profile is supplied with a closed groove, which you can simply tap open using a small piece of wood and a hammer. This gives the profile better structural strength during transport and also helps keep dirt out.
