Description of Bottom entry guide - for 95x100 C-profile
Bottom guide roller for a sliding gate is installed at the beginning and, if needed, at the end of the supporting C-profile. It slides into the C-profile and is secured to it with a pressure plate tightened using two screws. When the sliding gate reaches its closed position the gate therefore does not hit the bottom stop (e.g. gate catcher) with its frame, but with the wheel of the bottom guide roller.. In practice, when the guide wheel contacts the downward-bent part of the gate catcher, it guides the gate to the correct height, and when closed, the gate “rests” in this gate catcher.
The bottom stop is part of the aluminium cantilever system for gates up to 150 kg/6.5 m.
