Description of Aluminium fence slat, 160 × 16 mm, rectangular with grooves
Aluminium slat, can be used as infill for a fence, gate, or any other space. The slat has a rectangular shape with grooves, with a height of 160 mm, a width of 16 mm and is supplied in lengths of 2m, 3m or 6m.
The slat is hollow and has guide grooves on the sides for fixing screws. The simplest installation method is to use fixing profiles with pre-machined grooves for precise pre-drilling and fastening with screws.
The slat is suitable for creating an opaque infill; the grooves allow the slats to interlock. To finish the infill, use an AL-PV16 aluminium slat.

Surface finish:
Aluminium is generally an excellent material with resistance to corrosion and weathering, and a long service life. The slat is made from EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium and supplied without a surface finish. Before applying paint, if required, thoroughly degrease the aluminium surface and lightly abrade it with fine-grit sandpaper.
