Description of GSM remote alert system, pager, 1 input, iQGSM-A1
GSM module GSM-A1 has been replaced.
Its fully compatible successor is GSM-A2.
The GSM module works as a pager, notifying you by calling and sending an SMS when the relay contacts open or close, to the configured phone numbers.
The galvanically isolated wide-voltage input lets you connect buttons, sensors and sensor outputs. This makes it easy to monitor the status of these devices and, when the status changes (contacts open/close), the GSM module will send you an SMS, call you, or both. The GSM module can be configured with various commands:

- set the input response to opening or closing the contacts, or both
- set the notification delay from 0 to 99 seconds (how long the status change must last before a notification is triggered)
- set the post-alarm lockout from 0 to 99 seconds (after a notification is sent, the module is temporarily blocked to prevent repeated notifications)
- set custom SMS notification text for when the contacts open (e.g. boiler switched off) and when they close (e.g. boiler switched on)
- set up to 6 phone numbers to receive SMS notifications and calls
- set missed-call alerts, SMS notifications, or both
If you are installing the iQGSM-A1 in a metal enclosure or in a location with weak signal, we recommend purchasing an external antenna (ANT1, ANT2); when installed in a plastic enclosure, the signal can be boosted with a flat adhesive antenna.
Example of using the IN input for gates:
Connect a magnetic contact to the gate so that it is closed when the gate is shut, then connect it to the IN input. Next, set the time by which the gate must close (and the magnetic contact must close). If the contact does not close within the selected time, the GSM module will alert you with a missed call.
