The galvanized ground socket with a circular collar is designed to be set in concrete below ground level. It allows a vertical tube to be anchored without drilling into the concrete and can be removed if needed.
Tube is inserted into the socket profile at the joint and secured with an Allen bolt (3/8" - 24 mm). No welding or drilling into concrete is required, so you can create a strong joint.
The socket is 1 mm larger than the tube with a diameter of 60.3 mm (2”), which fits perfectly.
Tube connectors or pipe connectors are suitable for building more robust 2D and 3D structures, such as a pallet racking system or railing. Other possible uses for profile connectors include DIY construction of a shelving unit, stand, barrier, or even a frame for an advertising banner, modular tube railing, and much more.
