Description of Galvanized ground socket for concreting in, for 42.4 mm tubes, Type 134
The galvanised ground socket with a circular collar is designed to be set in concrete below ground level. It allows a vertical tube to be anchored without drilling into the concrete, and can be removed if needed.
The tube is inserted into the socket profile at the joint and secured with an Allen screw (3/8" - 24 mm). No welding or drilling into concrete is needed to create a secure joint.
The socket is 1 mm larger than the tube with a diameter of 42.4 mm (1¼"), which fits precisely.
Tube connectors or pipe connectors are suitable for building sturdier 2D and 3D structures, such as a pallet racking system or a railing. Other possible uses for profile connectors include DIY construction of a shelving unit, stand, barrier, or even a frame for an advertising banner, modular tube railing, and much more.
