Vertical installation of fence boards
Support profiles
- You can choose the longitudinal support profiles to suit your requirements
- The recommended maximum overhang beyond the support profile at both the top and bottom is 150mm
- The recommended maximum spacing between support profiles is 780mm
- Two support profiles are sufficient for fence boards up to 1.2m long; three support profiles are recommended for longer boards
- The support profiles are easily fastened to the post using a small L-shaped bracket
Fastening a fence board
- Fasten the fence board to the support profile using a 4.8x25mm rivet
- Pre-drill the hole in the fence board and profile with a 5mm drill bit
- If using two rivets, keep them at least this far from the edge of the fence board: 16mm
Fence board fastening options
- Leave a gap of at least 5mm between fence boards to allow for thermal expansion

- Fasten the fence board to the L-bracket using a M6x20 coach bolt
