Vertical installation of fence boards
Support profiles
- Choose the longitudinal support profiles to suit your requirements.
- The recommended maximum overhang beyond the support profile at both the top and bottom is 150mm.
- The recommended maximum spacing between support profiles is 780mm.
- Two support profiles are sufficient for fence boards up to 1.2m long; three support profiles are recommended for longer boards.
- The support profiles are easily attached to the post using a small L-shaped bracket
Fixing a fence board
- Attach the fence board to the support profile using a 4.8x25mm rivet
- Pre-drill the hole in both the fence board and profile using a 5mm drill bit.
- If using two rivets, keep them at least 16mm from the edge of the fence board.
Fence board fixing options
- Leave a gap of at least 5mm between fence boards to allow for thermal expansion.
