Description of CAME BSF – hydraulic resistance brake for sliding gates on slopes
CAME BSF - the hydraulic resistance brake has been discontinued. Its fully compatible successor is the BSF-M4 resistance brake
Hydraulic brake for sliding gates is used to smoothly brake a sliding gate moving on a slope. It linearizes the drive's operation while opening and closing the sliding gate, and also ensures safe manual operation of the gate.
The brake's pinion has module 4, making it compatible with all operators and rack rails in our range. The mounting holes have a diameter of 8 mm.
The brake is designed for sliding gates with a maximum load of 7 Nm.

Installing the CAME BSF resistance brake
The brake is installed near the gate operator. The pinion should mesh with the rack (A) on the gate with a tolerance of approx. 1-2 mm. The brake is fastened to a bracket (E) and the bracket is anchored to the concrete foundation (B). The bracket must be fabricated before installation.
The brake is factory-set to the minimum resistance. Increase the resistance by turning the adjustment screw (D) clockwise.
To reverse the braking direction, remove the cotter pin and turn the pinion (C).
The brake requires no maintenance.
