Gate control via GSM module
Open your gate, garage door or barrier with a missed call
Modern, efficient and simple device control via mobile phone. GSM modules let you replace your remote control with a mobile phone and open your gate with a missed call (from a specific number).
How does a GSM module work?
GSM module is a small device that connects to the control unit via a two-wire cable. It can then send preset commands to the control unit. This way, you can control a gate, garage door or barrier as well as air conditioning, an electric boiler or blinds.
The module works with a standard SIM card. Get a new SIM card from your chosen mobile operator, set it up according to the instructions and insert it into the GSM module. All you need to do is call the number on this SIM card and hang up and the module will send a command to the control unit.
Of course, the GSM module is a secure device and checks the list of authorised numbers before sending a command to the control unit. So nobody can open the gate just by knowing the GSM module's number.. The administrator adds authorised users via configuration SMS messages, a mobile app or a PC.
Categories and comparison
We divide the GSM modules in our range into three tiers: Lite, Smart and Profi.
GSM Lite is suitable for family homes and small businesses. This version supports 20 users and is managed via configuration SMS messages or a mobile app.
GSM Smart is suitable for larger businesses, car parks, hotels and similar facilities where support for more users is important. Smart supports up to 1,000 users and can control two devices. It can be managed via SMS, a mobile app or PC software (the module connects to a PC using a USB cable).
GSM Profi is the top-tier model. It also supports 1,000 users, but can control up to four different devices. It can be managed via a mobile phone (SMS/app) or PC (PC software/web interface).
For the web interface, connect the GSM module directly to a PC using an Ethernet cable, or connect it to an existing network where it will be assigned an IP address. Then simply enter the address in your web browser to open the web application (interface).

GSM or conventional remote control?
Which is the better choice: a GSM module or a conventional remote control? The main advantages of a GSM module include:
- no need to buy new remote controls
- your mobile phone serves as the remote control
- if you lose a remote control, you have to reset the receiver and pair all the remaining remotes again
- if you lose your phone, you simply delete the user
- detailed user management
- unlimited range—as long as you have mobile signal
