Electric strike locks
Electric strike locks provide access control for your doors or gates. By default, the latch mechanically blocks opening. When a pulse is received, the electromagnetic coil releases the latch.
Depending on the electric strike lock selected, its other features and functions are as follows.
Electric strike lock with memory:
The memory function means that after receiving an unlock pulse, the lock remains unlocked, even after the unlock signal ends. The unlocked state remains until you open the gate (or door). After the gate closes, the electric strike lock automatically locks.
Electric strike lock without memory:
The lock unlocks only while an electrical signal is present. When the power is disconnected, it immediately returns to its original locked position. It does not retain the unlocked state after the pulse ends.
Electric strike lock with hold-open function:
The lock can be set to remain unlocked permanently.
Without a hold-open function:
The lock is not equipped with a mechanism for permanent hold-open.
