Description of Electric lock for gate latch, ZE-05, AC/DC
Impulse electric strike is suitable for all types of intercoms, door-entry systems, video intercoms, and access control systems powered by 8-14V (AC/DC).
It includes a removable front plate with the strike keeper, a mechanical lever for switching to manual mode, an ejector pin, which, when activated by a pulse, "pushes out" the latch tongue, and pushing the door or gate moves the latch aside. Once it returns to its original position after the door or gate is slammed shut, it can no longer be moved, i.e. it locks automatically. Another electrical pulse is required to open it again.
The electric strike has a protective film on its front face, which you can peel off after installation to reveal the strike's finished exterior surface.
The electric strike is universal and can be used on either the left or right. You can remove the plate by unscrewing the two screws, then turn the plate around its vertical axis and the electric strike around its horizontal axis. Screw them back together to reverse the orientation, and you have the opposite orientation.
Electric strike with a hold-open function - the strike can be adjusted using a lever that allows it to remain unlocked.
The strike is without a memory function - it remains open only while the pulse is active.
For the ZE-05 electric strike, the suitable keeper is ZK-13.
