Description of Electric gate lock with stainless steel strike plate for the latch, ZE-05-INOX, AC/DC
Pulse-operated electric strike with stainless steel faceplate is suitable for all types of home phones, door-entry systems, video door-entry systems, and access control systems powered by 12-24V (AC/DC).
It includes a removable front faceplate with a keeper for the lock tongue, a mechanical lever for switching to manual mode, an ejector pin, which, when an impulse is applied, “pushes out” the tongue, and pushing the door or gate moves the latch aside. When it returns to its original position after the door or gate is slammed shut, it can no longer be moved, i.e. it locks automatically. Another electrical impulse is required to open it again.
The electric strike has a protective film on the front-facing side, which you can peel off after installation to reveal the strike's finished visible surface.
The electric strike is universal and can be used on either the left or right. You can remove the faceplate by unscrewing the two screws, then turn the faceplate around its vertical axis and the electric strike around its horizontal axis, and screw them back together. to reverse the orientation.
Thanks to itsinternal memory, the electric strike operates after receiving an electrical impulse and maintains a one-time release state for the tongue until the door is opened. After closing, it returns to the locked position.
