Description of ZAMEL Universal Wi-Fi Kit for Controlling a Drive via a Mobile App
With the help of the Wi-Fi kit you can control up to 2 arbitrary drives via a smartphone app and also see whether the gate is closed or open. How it works is that at the end position you install a magnetic sensor. It works as follows: a movable wireless part is mounted on the gate, and when it approaches the stationary wired part, the circuit closes and the Wi-Fi module therefore knows that the gate is closed. Information about the gate's status is displayed directly in the mobile app.
The device is controlled via the cloud server of the open-source project Supla.org, where, for the Wi-Fi receiver to work correctly, you need to create a free account (email, password). The website is also available in Slovak and Czech.
The Zamel (Supla) Wi-Fi module can work with voice assistants Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, as well as Google Home.
