Description of Steel toothed rack 30x10mm, galvanized, M4
Steel toothed rack galvanized. Each section is 1 m long, 10 mm thick, with a tooth height of 30 mm.
The toothed rack is supplied with 3 weld-on nuts for mounting and 3 fixing screws. The nuts are primarily intended to be welded to the gate. The sections are compatible with one another and can be easily joined. There are 3 mounting points per metre of rack.
The gear module is 4 and is compatible with drives Nice in our range, as well as most drives from other brands.
Toothed rack is made from high-quality steel and protected against corrosion with a zinc coating. This rack is designed primarily for heavy gates with a high number of cycles per day.
How many metres of rack do I need for my gate?
For your gate, you will probably need toothed rack with a length equal to the clear opening width plus 1 m (or enough to extend slightly beyond the gear wheel of the gate operator, which is fixed in place when the gate is closed). Example: My gate opening is 3.00 m wide, and the centre of the operator's gear wheel is 30 cm from the start of the opening.
You will need approximately 3.50 m of toothed rack. (Based on our experience, we recommend ordering 4.00 m to make sure you have enough.)
