Description of Steel toothed rack 22x22mm, galvanized, M4
Steel gear rack galvanised. Each section is 2m long, 22mm thick, with a tooth height of 22mm.
The gear module is 4 and is compatible with gate operators NICE in our range, as well as most operators from other brands.
Gear rack is made from high-quality steel and protected against corrosion by galvanising. This rack is designed primarily for heavy gates with a high number of operating cycles per day.
How many metres of gear rack do I need for a gate?
You will probably need gear rack in a length equal to the clear opening width plus 1 m (or extending slightly beyond the pinion of the stationary operator when the gate is closed). Example: My gate opening is 3,00 m wide, and the operator pinion axis is 30 cm from the start of the opening.
You will need approximately 3,50 m of gear rack. (In our experience, it is better to order 4,00 m to make sure you have enough.)
