Locinox Venus is a gate operator designed for pedestrian swing gates, allowing barrier-free access and hygienic opening of doors, making it suitable for medical practices, clinics or healthcare centres. It is also a suitable solution for hotels, parks, resorts, retirement homes and other outdoor facilities that require barrier-free access and high quality with a long service life.. Also suitable for swing gates on private properties, providing convenient barrier-free access. Thanks to its high-quality construction, the operator is designed for outdoor use, but it is also suitable for indoor use.
An operator with an arm opening up to 180° is a suitable solution for situations where the gate and post are positioned in line with each other.
Compact operator with simple installation, for posts with a minimum profile size of 80 mm.
The control unit has 3 built-in inputs and 3 outputs, so you can connect the device to motion sensors, a gate-opening push button, or sensors for lighting, or to a card reader and many other devices.
Examples of motion sensors that can be connected to the operator include relay photocells or a microwave motion detector.
When combined with other devices, the operator can also function as an electronic door entry system or another automated gate-opening system. For example, you can connect an external receiver to the operator and control it with remote controls, which can be the same ones used to open the main gate.
The gate operator is designed for pedestrian gates up to 140 cm wide and weighing up to 100 kg.
The gate operator features an integrated control unit, with a torque of 150 Nm, a steel gearbox and an anodised aluminium cover.
The reversible motor provides a high level of safety for pedestrians passing through the gate, as it can be pushed open by hand without much force when the operator is activated.

The compact design is vandal-resistant, with an integrated warning light and automatic obstacle detection with reverse function to provide your entrance gate with the safety it needs.

The 24V DC brushless motor provides a long service life and supports intensive use, with a reverse function for easy manual operation—in combination with a lock.
