Description of Kit for making a 2 m x 1.2 m aluminium fence panel, 160x16 mm slats, unfinished
Aluminium fence infill designed for those who want to build it themselves a low-maintenance modern fence. It uses a modular aluminium system that allows quick installation using screws, with no welding required. The set is suitable as infill for a fence, gate, wicket gate or other structures. Dimensions of slats: 160 x 16 x 2000 mm. Fence panel dimensions: 2 x 1.2 metres. >>Download the installation manual>>.
Adjustable width: The profiles can be easily cut to size. This lets you adjust the width of the fence panel to suit your needs.
Adjustable height: you can also choose the spacing between the slats. A guide groove is marked on the U-profile to show where to screw in the slat. You can choose the layout of the slats and the spacing between them.
The standard spacing between slats for this panel is 2 cm (for a total height of 1.2 m). Increasing the spacing between the infill slats can give you a panel height of up to 1.5 m. This flexibility lets you adapt the infill profiles to your requirements.

Installation
You can easily install it yourself with our kit. The U-shaped mounting profile has a groove running along the entire length of its side, making it easier to position the slats precisely. The slats also make installation easier, as they have precisely positioned mounting holes for securely fastening them to the U-profile with self-tapping steel screws.
- Length of the mounting profiles: Cut the U-profile into two pieces, each 120 - 150 cm long.
- Spacing between the fence slats: Following the installation instructions (mounting holes in the slats), mark the spacing on the U-profile and drill holes for the screws.
- Fastening the aluminium slats: Position the U-profiles along the sides and the slats perpendicular between them, then securely fasten everything together with self-tapping steel screws.
How to install a fence panel
The U-profiles are to fence posts or to profiles in a gate or wicket gate frame, and are installed using screws, preferably with a countersunk head. If the post or gate frame is also made of aluminium, the fence panel can also be installed by welding.
When anchoring the fence panel to a low wall we recommend using a chemical anchor and threaded rods. Finally, use screw caps on the nuts and ends of the threaded rods, or paint them over (you can also use a metal marker in the desired colour).

Material and Finish
The slats and profile are made of durable, untreated aluminium, making them ideal for any finish to suit your individual needs. The self-tapping screws are made of stainless steel. All components of the fence panel are corrosion-resistant.
