Description of JABLOTRON GD-04K - Universal GSM module, 2 outputs, 4 inputs
The universal GD-04K GSM communicator and controller lets you remotely control and monitor the status of a wide range of appliances via SMS or by calling and hanging up. This is an upgraded version of the successful GD-04 communicator, retaining its most commonly used functions while adding new features. The device can store 100 authorized contacts.
The GSM module offers two high-current relay outputs, which can be controlled using preset SMS messages or by calling and hanging up from saved or unsaved phone numbers.
Control options:
- SMS messages: Custom text can be set for switching each relay on or off. When activated, the relay switches on for a preset period. The switching duration can be set from 1 second to 10 hours.
- Calling and hanging up: The relay switches on when an authorized number calls and hangs up. Up to 100 authorized numbers can be stored. The incoming call is not answered; the GSM module checks the number instead. If the number is authorized, the call is rejected and the relay switches on.
- Calling and hanging up with a limited number of uses: When entering authorized numbers, a specific number of uses can be assigned to each one. Once the set number of uses is exceeded, further calls will be ignored. This feature is suitable, for example, for a subscription-based entry system for a garage, gate or premises.
Module configuration options:
- PC software: The most convenient way to configure the device is using the GD-Link PC software. After installing the software, simply connect the PC to the GSM module using a USB cable (included).
- MyJABLOTRON web application: The MyJABLOTRON web application also provides full configuration and can be accessed remotely, without the need for cables.
- Configuration SMS messages: Basic functions can also be configured using SMS messages.
