The galvanised top part of the hinge, combined with the bottom part of the hinge, forms a hinge directly on the tubular structure.
Both parts of the hinge have a 42.4 mm tube clamp, secured with an Allen screw (3/8" - 9.52 mm).. No welding required, so you can create a secure hinge connection.
The inner diameter of the tube opening is 1 mm larger than the tube. The product is designed for a 42.4 mm (1¼”), which fits precisely.
Combined with other tube connectors, you can create movable sections of a structure, a gate connected to a railing, a storage rack with closable sections, and more.
Tube connectors are suitable for building sturdier 2D and 3D structures, such as a pallet racking system or a railing..
