Description of Galvanized connector for 60.3 mm tubes, straight cross, 5-way
Galvanized through-cross connector for 60.3 mm tubes allows three horizontal tubes to be connected to a vertical tube in a cross configuration. The connector slides onto the vertical tube, i.e. the post. The first horizontal tube passes through the connector and continues through it, while the other two horizontal tubes connect to it at 90°.
The tubes are secured in the connector using hex socket screws (3/8" - 12.7 mm), which create a strong joint once tightened, without the need for welding. The connector can be reused, which is an added benefit.
The connector's inside diameter is 1 mm larger than the tube diameter. The product is designed for a 60.3 mm (2”) tube, which fits precisely.
