Description of Galvanized 5-way through cross connector for 48.3 mm tubes
Galvanized 48.3 mm pipe connector, through-cross type allows three horizontal pipes to be connected to a vertical pipe in a cross configuration. The connector slides onto the vertical pipe, or post. The first horizontal pipe passes through the connector and continues uninterrupted, while the other two horizontal pipes connect to it at 90°.
Connecting elements slide onto the profile at the joint and are secured with an Allen screw (3/8" - 12.7 mm), which, once secured, form a firm joint, without the need for welding. The connector can be reused, which is an added benefit.
The connector’s inner diameter is 1 mm larger than the pipe’s diameter. The product is designed for a 48.3 mm (1½”) pipe, which fits precisely.
Pipe connectors or tube connectors are suitable for building sturdier 2D and 3D structures, such as pallet racking or railings.
