Galvanized tube connector with an external straight joint joins two tubes with a diameter of 33.7 mm along the same axis. The connector slides over the ends of both tubes. A less conspicuous alternative is an internal straight connector.
This joint is not suitable for heavy vertical loads.
The connecting elements slide onto the profile at the joint and are secured with an Allen screw (1/4" - 12.5 mm). Without the need for welding, you can create a strong connection.
The product is designed for a tube with an outside diameter of 33.7 mm (1″).
Tube or pipe connectors are suitable for building more robust 2D and 3D structures, such as a pallet racking system or a railing. Other possible uses for profile connectors include DIY construction of a shelving unit, stand, or barrier, or even a frame for an advertising banner, modular tube railing and much more.
