Description of EPDM washer for combination screws
EPDM washers are ideal for use in construction, especially for sealing and insulation.
EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber) is a synthetic rubber known for its high resistance to weathering, UV radiation, ozone and extreme temperatures.
EPDM washers are made of rubber, which ensures tight joints and prevents water and moisture from penetrating. They are commonly used in combination with screws and bolts, especially for fastening roofing and façade systems.
They are also used to fasten structures for solar panels on roofs. For this purpose, they are combined with a threaded wood screw, flange nuts and a support connector. The lower part of the screw is suitable for installation in wood, while the upper part is secured with a nut. The EPDM washer provides insulation and a seal for the part of the screw anchored in the wooden roof structure. Support connector is attached to the T-bolt profile using a profile, to which a clamp solar panel is secured.
The EPDM washer is designed for M10 and M12 screws.
