Description of Electric lock for a gate latch, ZE-01
This electric strike has been replaced by the new lock ZE-05.
Impulse electric strike is suitable for all types of home telephones, intercoms, video intercoms and access control systems powered by 8-12V (AC).
Includes a removable front plate with a strike plate for the lock latch, a mechanical lever for switching to manual mode, a release pin, which, when activated by an impulse, “pushes out” the latch, and pushing the door or gate causes the bolt to retract. Once it returns to its original position, after the door or gate is closed, it can no longer be moved, i.e. it locks automatically. Another electrical impulse is required to open it again.
The front-facing side of the electric strike has a protective film, which you can peel off after installation to reveal the lock’s finished front surface.
The electric strike is universal for left- or right-hand installation. You can remove the plate by unscrewing two screws, then turn the plate around its vertical axis and the electric strike around its horizontal axis. Screw them back together and you have the opposite orientation.
