Description of Bottom guide ramp - STAINLESS STEEL, 76x76
Bottom guide for sliding gate is installed at the beginning and, if needed, also at the end of the supporting C-profile. It slides into the C-profile and is secured to it with a pressure plate tightened with two screws. When stopping sliding gate, the gate therefore does not stop against the bottom stop (e.g. end stop pocket) with its body, but with its wheel bottom guide. In practice, when the guide wheel contacts the downward-bent part of the end stop pocket guides the gate into the correct height position, and when the gate closes “rests” in this end stop pocket.
An additional solution is to use a bottom guide and a bottom stop (end stop pocket) at the end of the C-profile as well, for sliding gates intended to remain open for extended periods.
