C-profiles for sliding gates

Thick-wall guide C-profiles for sliding gates are located on the underside freestanding sliding gate (usually by welding). The gate runs on a C-profile "straddling it" on the support carriages with rollers.

C-profiles are supplied in lengths up to 6m, but for our best-selling models 70x70x4 and 80x80x5 we can also supply shorter lengths in whole-metre increments. This is useful if you have a narrower opening and, for example, a five-metre C-profile is sufficient, or conversely, we can supply an extra metre if you need a seven-metre C-profile.

The required length of the C-profile is approximately 1.45 times the length of the structural opening for the gate (i.e. the opening width). In confined spaces, this can be reduced to 1.3–1.35 times the opening width, but no less.
