Wiring for the NICE MC800 control unit
What types of cables should be used for each component in a gate operator system with a NICE control unit MC800 can be found in the following “shopping” list:
Minimum requirements:
- Power supply to the control unit: 3×1,5 mm2. If the power supply cable is longer than 30 m, use a larger size, for example 3 x 2,5 mm2
- Each motor: 4 ×1,5 mm2 (stranded)
Optional accessories:
- Photocells with conventional wiring:
- TX transmitter: 2×0,5 mm2
- RX receiver: 4×0,5 mm2
- BlueBus photocells:
- TX transmitter: 2×0,5 mm2
- RX receiver: 2×0,5 mm2
- Flashing light:
- for the light: 2×1 mm2
- for the antenna: shielded coaxial cable with a 50 Ohm impedance (RG58 type)
- Alternatively, a two-core cable (2x0,5 mm2) if you want, for example, to open it with a standard switch.
- Any other BlueBus accessory: 2×0,5 mm2. If the BlueBus cable is longer than 20m, use 2×1 mm2
