Use
The LiftMaster 9747E wireless keypad uses a four-digit code. We recommend programming your code before installation and testing signal reception in advance at the planned installation location. Move the keypad if necessary. You can change your personal code as needed. You can choose from up to 10,000 different combinations.
If you are expecting guests or have visitors on site (for example, installers, builders or a courier), you can add a temporary code. This code can be limited to a certain number of hours or uses. The keypad uses a secure rolling code.
This wireless control is designed for LiftMaster garage door openers, but it can also be paired with a multifunction door control.
Operation
The opener is activated by entering the four-digit code and pressing ENTER. If you accidentally press the wrong numbers, you can correct them immediately. The ENTER button sends only the last four digits entered. The keypad will flash for 15 seconds after the code is entered. During this time, you can use the ENTER button to stop the door or change its direction of travel.
Programming the keypad into the receiver's memory
1. Press and release the yellow Learn button on the opener. The Learn indicator stays lit continuously for 30 seconds.
2. Within 30 seconds, enter a four-digit code (PIN) of your choice on the keypad and hold down ENTER.
3. Release the button when the light on the motor unit starts flashing. The code has been programmed. If no light bulbs are installed, you will hear two clicks.
