The lock housing is welded directly into the gate frame. With this lock housing, there is no need to:
- cut an opening for a mortice lock,
- drill mounting holes for the lock,
- drill a hole for the handle,
- or mill an opening for the cylinder.
The housing is 246 mm high, so you only need to cut from the gate profile approximately 25 cm and weld this housing in place.
The distance between the handle spindle axis and the centre of the Euro cylinder is 72 mm.
The distance between the mounting holes for mounting the lock from the front is 198 mm. The front face of the housing has a recess embossed in the same shape as the front of the lock. Once the lock is fitted, its front face sits recessed, allowing for a minimal gap between the gate and the post.
