Description of SOMFY V500 PRO io video intercom, DIN rail
The SOMFY video intercom gives you full control over access to your home. It offers a convenient way to welcome visitors and receive deliveries, enhancing your home’s security and privacy.
Easy installation using existing 2-wire wiring, with no need for complex modifications. Compact, slim outdoor unit is made of durable aluminium and plastic, making it resistant to adverse weather conditions. The indoor touchscreen monitor features a high-resolution 7” colour display (800 × 480 px).
Control up to 5 devices or groups of devices via io-homecontrol. Installation using existing two-wire cabling (max. 150 m between units). Power supply: 100–240 V AC, 24 V DC output (monitor), 12 V for electric lock (max. 800 mA).
Thanks to the 16GB SD cardincluded in the package, you can store up to 400 photos of visitors while you are away and upload your own ringtone melody.
The camera’s wide-angle lens (H: 102° / V: 68°) and night vision with infrared LEDs ensure excellent visibility even in poor conditions. Motion detection automatically turns on the display when someone approaches; it also automatically activates recording from a distance of 30 cm. The nameplate and button are backlit.
The intercom function lets you communicate with another monitor, for example on the second floor of your home.

V500 PRO io video intercom cannot be connected to the internet. To connect the video intercom to the internet, you can use the Connectivity V®Link module, which enables Wi-Fi connectivity and use of the Somfy Protect mobile app for remote control of the video intercom and other connected devices. Some automatic scenarios can be triggered via TaHoma switch.
