Description of Run-off pocket – Stainless Steel
Closing pocket is used to stop the gate at the bottom. At the end of the C-profile is mounted run-in roller, which rolls into this pocket.
This allows the entire gate to rest against the lower stop, reducing the load on the bearing rollers on the gate carriages. Carriages therefore do not have to be under constant strain.
The pocket helps hold the cantilever gate securely and keep it stable when closed, and is essential for installing a cantilever gate. The pocket has a rubber stop for quiet, cushioned gate closure.
