Description of NICE SNA3X - disassembled 3 × 1 m guide rail for a garage door opener belt
The guide rail is supplied in three 1 m sections, giving it a total length of 3 m. One section contains the belt tensioner with its tensioning nut, the sliding carriage and the internal closing stop. The second section is empty, and the third contains the internal opening stop and the snap-on drive head, which transfers the drive’s rotation to the belt. The belt runs lengthwise through all three sections, which are joined using snap-fit connectors.
Assemble the guide rail as follows:

Before assembling the rail, loosen the tensioning nut:

Remove the belt from each section except the one containing the tensioner and carriage, and set it aside.

Using a rubber mallet and a little force, join all the sections with the supplied connectors until they snap into place:

Place the belt inside the fully assembled rail with the teeth facing inward, making sure it is not twisted anywhere.

Snap the head onto the other end of the rail:

Tighten the tensioning nut until the belt runs smoothly. Do not tighten it too much yet—if the belt is too tight, the drive could deform the rail. If it is too loose, the belt may simply knock against the rail as it moves and make unwanted noises—but you can always tighten it further:
