Description of NICE SNA30 – assembled 3 m guide rail for garage door opener belt
The guide rail is supplied assembled as a single 3 m section. At one end are the belt tensioner with its tensioning nut, the sliding carriage and the internal closing stop; at the other end are the internal opening stop and the snap-on head, which transfers the drive’s rotation to the belt. The belt runs along the full length of the rail.
Before installing the rail, tighten the tensioning nut just enough for the belt to run smoothly. Don’t tighten it too much at this stage: if the belt is overtightened, the drive could deform the rail. If it is too loose, the belt may simply knock against the rail as it moves and make unwanted noise—but you can always tighten it further:
