Description of NICE PW1 heating cable, 20 W, for heating the drive and control unit, length 44 cm + 95 cm power lead
Self-regulating heating cable for maintaining the proper temperature of a gate or barrier operator. The cable consumes 20 W and is highly efficient thanks to its silicone sheath, which covers the resistance wire and improves heat transfer.
The device is powered directly from a 230/120 Vac supply via the NICE TW1, and because it does not load the operator/barrier transformer itself, the operator/barrier’s power performance remains unchanged.
The heating element is 44 cm long and 7 mm in diameter, with a 95 cm power supply lead.
Heating cable can reach temperatures close to 100 °C under normal ambient conditions.
