Description of NICE ERA Transponder Reader ETP - contactless card reader
Don't forget!
The ETP reader does not feature BlueBUS technology, so it also requires a decoder to work correctly NICE-MORX.
Card reader NICE ERA Transponder Reader ETP is a device that allows authorised people to enter a property or control drive a gate or other automation system. This person is assigned a card andor key fob, which sends a command to the drive when held up to the card reader. Cards are stored in the reader's memory, so the card itself stores no information and can be used to operate any number of automation systems. Up to four card readers can be connected to one drive, with each assigned a unique address using a jumper so the drive can identify which reader is which. Each reader is assigned a unique address using a jumper, allowing the drive to identify each reader.
The reader's memory can store up to 255 cards, or key fobs with the option to expand capacity to 510 cards/key fobs by adding a second BM1000 memory unit.
When installed correctly, the detection range is 5 - 10 cm.
You can program a specific number of accesses for each card, for example for visitors.
You can program the drive to be permanently blocked and then unblocked again.
ETP and MORX are more expensive solutions, but also highly versatile. This combination can be used to control practically anything, from gates and barriers to a drinks vending machine or coffee maker.
