Description of NICE EPMOR (Era Photocell M Reflective) reflective photocell with conventional wiring
In situations where it is not possible to run a cable across the driveway, you can install a photocell using a combination of a wired photocell and a reflector. This means that a photocell (which contains both a TX transmitter and an RX receiver) is connected by cable to the operator control unit on one side of the driveway, while there is only a reflector on the other side.
Photocell NICE Era Photocell M Reflective EPMOR has a conventional relay connection, so in principle it can be connected to almost any control unit (even from another brand) that supplies it with 12-24V (DC or AC) and has a relay-type safety photocell input.
The range of the photocell and reflector is approximately 8 m, depending on weather conditions. The theoretical range is up to 15 m in ideal conditions, but rain, snow, fog, dusty environments, sunlight, reflections and similar factors can reduce it by up to 50%. The photocell has an anti-glare circuit that reduces the risk of interference from sunlight and reflections from other objects.
An additional module NICE ELMM with an LED, which, depending on the control unit model, can function as driveway lighting, a warning light, or an open-gate indicator (O.G.I. outputs, formerly S.C.A.).
