NICE Sumo operators are normally mounted directly on the gate shaft and secured to the wall from the side using the bracket supplied in the package.

There are, however, two situations in which you can use the set of 2 mounting angle brackets:

if the operator needs to be installed away from the shaft and the operator’s axis of rotation connected to the garage door’s axis of rotation using sprockets and a chain, the operator needs to be secured more firmly.
the operator is used to move a suspended sliding gate, so the operator is mounted lengthwise along the wall

The bracket is suitable for all NICE Sumo operator models.
