The BiDi-WiFi Ext kit is used when the signal from your home Wi-Fi network does not reach the gate operator, or is too weak for the BiDi-WiFi module connected directly to the operator to work properly.>>Download the manual>>.
It is designed for Nice control units with a BusT4 or IBT4N and allows the BiDi-WiFi module to be connected by cable up to 100 metres away from the operator, in a location with a stronger Wi-Fi signal. For situations like this, the kit combines the BiDi-WiFi module and the IBT4EXT, providing a fast, stable Wi-Fi connection.
Please note: BiDi-WiFi Ext is not a standard plug-in Wi-Fi extender. It does not extend the home Wi-Fi network across your property. It extends the wired connection between the Nice gate operator’s control unit and the BiDi-WiFi module.
How to connect the BiDi-WiFi Ext kit to the gate operator
There are two connection methods, depending on the type of output on the gate operator’s control unit:
- If the control unit has an IBT4N output.
Important:
Disconnect the control unit’s power supply before connecting devices to the IBT4N input. Once all connections are complete, switch the power back on.
- If the control unit has a BusT4 output.

If you need to position the BiDi-WiFi module farther from the operator, you will need to purchase a suitable longer cable with the following specifications:
- connector type: RJ11 6/4 (6-position body with 4 contacts – commonly used in telephone systems)
- cable type: flat telephone cable with 4 conductors.
