Description of LOCINOX LAKQ 4040 lock with a powder-coated aluminium body and stainless steel mechanism for 40x40 profile
Locinox LAKQ industrial lock with an aluminum housing and a stainless steel latch mechanism. It is suitable for use on swing gates with 40x40mm profiles, especially for outdoor use. The lock is maintenance-free, so it does not need to be lubricated.
Fastens with two hex-head screws. The lock can be adjusted very precisely by turning the adjustment screws by up to 20 mm (i.e. the latch range is 40-60mm), without removing the lock.
The lock can be used on either the left or right side, thanks to the easily reversible latch.
One turn of the key raises the bolt (locks the gate) by up to 23mm.
The lock set also includes an aluminum handle and a cylinder, but not the box section. The lock is compatible with a standard 54mm cylinder (27/27).
The original manufacturer's code is LAKQ4040U2LZILVVSZM, which identifies it as a Locinox lock, also known as the Locinox LAKQ U2 4040 ZILV.
The lock is fully compatible with stops LOCINOX SAKL QF or the safety stop LOCINOX SHKL QF .
