Description of LiftMaster RX1EV – external single-channel receiver, 433/868 MHz
LiftMaster RX1EV is a radio receiver for Liftmaster remote controls. When connected to a drive unit, it lets you operate a sliding gate, swing gate or garage door with a compatible remote control. The receiver connects to the drive unit by cable. When you press a button on the remote control, the receiver picks up its signal and sends a command to the drive unit.
It is single-channel, which means it is used to operate one drive unit or another compatible device. You can store up to 40 remote controls or other supported control devices.
The receiver supports Liftmaster remote controls TX4EVF, TX4UNIF, TX4EVS, TX4UNIS, and 780EV and 850EV keypads, as well as the 128EV wall-mounted remote control.
The drive unit must support connection of an external receiver. The wiring and power supply must comply with the receiver and drive unit instructions. The receiver is intended for indoor use only (IP20 rating). When used outdoors, the receiver must be protected from the weather.
