Description of Hook lock for sliding gates E, ZH-05
Hook lock type E, for sliding gates. A lock designed for gates that need to close like a door with a knob on one side: When unlocked, the lock hook remains extended and can be operated with a handle. When the gate closes, the hook springs into the strike plate and stays locked in place, but the gate can still be opened with the handle. A popular option is a handle on the inside and a knob on the outside of the gate. When locked, the handle is disabled.
It can be fitted into a profile with dimensions of 60 x 30 mm or larger. Locked with a standard cylinder lock. Supplied with a strike plate, as shown in the picture.
A hook lock is ideal for a manually operated sliding gate, but can also be used as a safety accessory on an automated sliding gate.
