Galvanized T-shaped swivel pipe connector with a male end allows a perpendicular connection between two pipes with the ability to adjust the angle of the connected pipe. The connector is generally not used on its own, but always in combination with another connector. The male end fits into a female connector designed for pipes with a diameter of 42.4 mm. Turning the male connector in the joint allows you to create any angle. This makes it suitable for staircases and ramps where the handrail does not run straight (at 90°), but follows an incline, for example at an angle of 30° or 45°.
The connectors are fitted over the profile at the joint and secured with an Allen screw (3/8" - 12.7 mm). No welding is required; this creates a strong connection.
The connector’s inner diameter is 1 mm larger than the pipe diameter. The product is designed for 42.4 mm pipe (1¼”), into which it fits precisely.
Pipe connectors or tube connectors are suitable for building more robust 2D and 3D structures, such as pallet racking or handrails. Other possible uses for profile connectors include, for example, DIY construction of a shelving unit, stand, barrier, or even a frame for an advertising banner, modular pipe railing, and much more.
