Description of FADINI TALOS 94 automatic retractable bollard, 275 mm diameter, anthracite
Fully retractable, high-performance automatic bollard consisting of an oil-hydraulic motor-pump unit built into the main structure and an oil-hydraulic actuator inside the moving cylinder.
Height above ground level can be 500, 600, 700 or 800 mm. Scratch-resistant S235JRH steel moving cylinder with a 4 mm wall thickness and a diameter of 275 mm, cataphoresis-treated and polyester powder-coated.
Aluminium cylinder head with a rubber edge and cataphoresis-treated aluminium cover plate. The moving cylinder is fitted with retroreflective, high-intensity microprismatic adhesive film (80 mm high), 12 flashing warning LEDs and a 10 m electrical cable.
Steel housing for installation is hot-dip galvanized. Cover plate providing access to the hydraulic release mechanism for manually lowering the bollard with a special key in an emergency.
TALOS 94 retractable bollards are also available in the HRC version, in which the extended bollard sits 200 mm deeper in its housing than the standard version. This provides greater resistance to both impact and penetration.
Impact resistance 52,000 J (HRC version: 70,000 J), penetration resistance 320,000 J (HRC version: 420,000 J), static maximum load: 1,500 kg (bollard in the raised position), maximum 20,000 kg (in the lowered position).
Operating temperature: -40 to +80 °C. Supply voltage: 230 Vac ± 10%, 50 Hz. Power consumption: 1,100 W.
Extension time is 2.14 s (for the 500 mm bollard), 2.57 s (for the 600 mm bollard), 3 s (for the 700 mm bollard), 3.42 s (for the 800 mm bollard). The bollards are designed for intensive use, up to 2,000 cycles per day.
The entire structure has an IP 67 rating.
