Gate closing pocket is used to stop the gate at the bottom. At the end of the C-profile is fitted approach roller, which rolls into this pocket.
The entire gate can then rest against this lower stop, relieving the load on the bearing rollers on the carriages. Carriages therefore do not have to be under constant strain.
The pocket helps hold and stabilize the cantilever gate in the closed position and is very important for installing a cantilever gate. The pocket has a rubber stop for smooth, quiet gate closing.
