Description of CAIS Bottom Guide for C-Profile 73x61x3,5mm RUN S
Bottom run-up roller CAIS RUN S for a sliding gate is installed at the beginning, and optionally also at the end, of the guide C-profile. It slides into the C-profile and is secured to it with a clamping plate tightened with two screws. When the sliding gate closes, the gate therefore does not strike the bottom stop (e.g. the end-stop pocket) with its body, but with the bottom run-up roller. In practice, when the roller contacts the downward-bent part of the end-stop pocket, it guides the gate to the correct height, and when the gate is closed, it “rests” in this end-stop pocket.
