CAIS SPEED SK carriage made of galvanized steel with 8 metal wheels, suitable for sliding gates.
- The carriage fits 73×61×3,5mm C-profile Fe,
- and 73×61×3,5mm C-profile Zn.
The carriage is offset (asymmetrical), meaning its wheels are positioned at the edge of the base rather than in the center. It is particularly suitable when installing a sliding gate that closes uphill, but the C-profile is not underneath; it is attached to the side of the gate frame in a horizontal plane (see image).

Carriage articulation ensures the gate’s weight/pressure is evenly distributed across all the carriage bearing rollers at every point during gate movement.
ANCHORING THE SUPPORT CARRIAGES OF A CANTILEVER SLIDING GATE:
Support carriages can be anchored:
- using threaded rods which you cast directly into the foundation
- using threaded rods chemically bonded into a cured concrete foundation
- using hammer-in anchors into a cured concrete foundation
The narrowest dimension of the holes in the mounting plates is 17mm, and they are anchored using an M16. All methods are valid; it depends on which one you have more experience with.
