Description of Aluminium rectangular tube 60x40 mm, wood-effect textured finish, LUVIA decor (Light Oak)
Aluminium profile with a Light Oak LUVIA wood-effect finish with a textured surface, can be used as fence infill, gate infill, or to fill any other space. The box section has a square cross-section with a height of 60 mm, a width of 40 mm and a wall thickness of 1.2 mm. The profile is available in lengths of 2 m, 3 m or 6 m.
Compared with dull anthracite, the LUVIA finish gives the fence the warm, luxurious look of wood. The combination of anthracite and a wood-effect finish is also modern, timeless and very popular.
Key benefits:
- Strength, thanks to the 1.1 mm wall thickness.
- Dimensional stability
- Resistance to weathering and corrosion.
- Colour retention. Unlike natural wood, the aluminium slats in the LUVIA wood-effect finish retain their colour over the long term without the need for sanding or painting.
- Maintenance-free.
- The finely textured surface provides a natural look without unwanted glare.
- Timeless style. Dark wood-effect finishes never go out of fashion.
SURFACE FINISH:
Aluminium is an excellent material in general, with resistance to corrosion, water and weather and offers a long service life. The profiles are made from extruded aluminium to standard EN AW-6060-T6.
The surface is powder-coated with a fine texture, and the wood-effect finish is applied by sublimation. Light Oak LUVIA.
This surface finish is characterised by its modern appearance,, long service life, long-lasting colour retention and UV stability.. It is intended for use in construction, where long-lasting colour and gloss are essential.
It requires no maintenance.
Please note
The manufacturing process requires at the ends of profiles with a powder-coated finish approximately 1 cm of the profile at each end to be left for holding it during painting. At the end of the profile there is a small hole, and possibly also a strip of tape, which should be taken into account.. If necessary, the end can simply be cut off or concealed inside a mounting profile.
Installation
Quick installation using screws. The profiles can also be welded, but the coated layer must first be broken through at the weld point, which may affect the appearance. Using screws also makes it easy to dismantle and replace individual parts when making modifications or repairing damage.
TIP FOR YOU:
Want to give your fence a designer touch and a unique, timeless style? Choose a combination of wood-effect finish and anthracite. Their combination is currently a bestseller in modern outdoor spaces. This combination never gets old or goes out of style, and works so well because it brings two worlds together:
- Anthracite gives the structure (posts, gate frames and slats) an industrial, clean and technical character.
- Wood-effect finish LUVIA (Light Oak) softens the overall look, adding the warmth of home and a luxurious organic element.
